Doloc Town Mods
Steam Workshop shipped in the June 2026 update. Official support is for textures and new content. Functional mods that need BepInEx or DTMAPI are explicitly unsupported. This is not a cheat page.
What Workshop can add
Publisher copy and the 11 Jun 2026 Steam news agree: not only texture swaps. You can add items, decorations, crops, recipes, fish, and basic resources. Enable a subscribed mod from the title-screen Mod menu before loading a save. Some mods appear on load; others need the two extra shops next to the phone booth.
How to subscribe
Open the Workshop page, click Subscribe, let Steam download in the background, then enable the pack in the Mod menu. There is no official “must-install” list. As of 19 Aug 2026 the Workshop had live items (do not add tag counts together — one mod can wear several tags).
Functional mods and black screens
Steam 1.00.03 / 1.00.04: “Functional mods are not supported in our Steam workshop architecture.” If the game blacks out, browse local files and delete the BepInEx folder by hand. Reinstalling the game does not remove it. The official FAQ says cosmetic/content mods should survive 1.0; function mods should be removed before playing 1.0.
A Workshop contest’s prize count differs between Games Press and Steam news, so contest rules are left unconfirmed.
